Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Kolkata. The Accountant will oversee financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, create reports, and assist with budgeting and forecasting. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, reconciling bank statements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure financial efficiency. The role will also involve identifying and implementing financial process improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Financial Accounting, including bookkeeping, auditing, and preparing financial statements.
• Proficiency in Taxation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, calculating taxes, and filing reports accurately.
• Experience in Budgeting and Forecasting to manage financial planning and expense tracking.
• Familiarity with using Accounting Software and systems to streamline and maintain financial processes.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying discrepancies and optimizing financial operations.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CA, CPA) are an advantage.
