Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant for a full-time position based on-site in Kolkata. The Senior Accountant will handle daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, tax preparation, and account reconciliation. The role also involves preparing budgets, analyzing financial data, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and streamlining financial processes. This individual will collaborate closely with internal teams and provide valuable insights to support decision-making and strategy execution.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting
- Proficiency in tax preparation, handling compliance, and knowledge of tax regulations
- Experience in account reconciliation, bookkeeping, and financial analysis
- Proficiency in financial software and tools such as QuickBooks, Tally, or similar systems
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional certification like CA, CMA, or CPA is an advantage
