Job Description – Accountant

Position: Accountant

Experience Required:2-6 Years ONLY

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, payroll processing, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and coordination with external auditors/CA office.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting records and books of accounts.
  • Record financial transactions accurately in accounting software/Tally/ERP.
  • Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and ledgers.
  • Maintain petty cash and expense records.

Invoicing & Receivables

  • Generate and manage customer invoices.
  • Track receivables and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Process vendor bills and payments.

Taxation & Compliance

  • Handle TDS calculations, deductions, filing, and reconciliations.
  • Manage GST filing, GST reconciliation, and compliance-related activities.
  • Support Income Tax-related documentation and compliance.
  • Ensure statutory compliance as per applicable regulations.

Payroll & Salary Processing

  • Process monthly salaries accurately and on time.
  • Handle payroll inputs, deductions, reimbursements, PF, ESI, PT, and statutory components.
  • Coordinate salary-related documentation and employee queries.

Financial Reporting & MIS

  • Prepare MIS reports, expense analysis, and financial summaries.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
  • Support budgeting and financial planning activities.

CA Office Coordination

  • Coordinate with Chartered Accountant (CA) office for audits, taxation, compliance, filings, and financial documentation.
  • Ensure timely sharing of required documents and reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance (B.Com/M.Com preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, payroll processing, and bookkeeping.
  • Experience in financial statements, MIS reporting, and statutory compliance.
  • Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.
  • Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing/automation/industrial sector is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with audit processes and compliance documentation.
