Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles to support informed decision-making.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Conduct internal audits and implement controls to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to support management decisions.
- Mentor and train junior accounting staff as needed.
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
- Proven experience as an accountant, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
