Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Panaji. The Accountant will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including preparing and maintaining financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, creating financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting laws and regulations. The role also involves analyzing financial data, conducting audits, and collaborating with the team to support budget planning and financial forecasting.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
- Experience with budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of spreadsheets and data analysis tools
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Clear communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in the transportation or logistics industry is a plus
- Knowledge of local and international accounting standards and compliance requirements
