Job Title: Accountant / Audit Executive (with Business Development Exposure)

Location: Jaigaon Office, Alipurduar, West Bengal (Bhutan Border)

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented professional with strong accounting and audit experience, along with the ability to support business development activities for key clients, including Bhutanese clients. The role is primarily focused on accounting, compliance, and audit functions, with exposure to client relationship management and cross-border assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements
• Drafting of Balance Sheet, P&L, and supporting schedules
• Conducting statutory and internal audits independently
• Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR) and GST Returns (GSTR)
• Computation of income for corporate and non-corporate assessees
• Ensuring compliance with GST, Income Tax Act, and Companies Act
• Handling accounting, auditing, and taxation assignments for Bhutanese clients
• Maintaining books of accounts, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Managing key client relationships, including Bhutan-based clients
• Identifying opportunities for additional services and supporting business growth
• Assisting in preparation of proposals and client communications

Eligibility Criteria:

• B.Com Graduate / Semi-qualified (CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred)
• 3–4 years of experience in accounting, audit, and taxation

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of accounting concepts and financial reporting
• Practical knowledge of GST and Income Tax
• Knowledge of Bhutanese accounting, auditing, and taxation (preferred)
• Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 (other software knowledge is an added advantage)
• Advanced MS Excel skills and good command over MS Office
• Good communication and client-handling skills

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Experience in independently handling audits and finalization
• Exposure to international/Bhutanese client assignments
• Ability to manage client relationships along with core accounting work
• Proactive, organized, and able to meet deadlines

• Salary: 30,000 – 40,000 per month
