Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in VELACHERRY,Chennai . The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Day-to-day tasks include managing accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, financial forecasting, and reconciling discrepancies. The Accountant will work closely with the finance and operations teams to help improve the company's financial processes and maintain accurate, up-to-date records.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in accounting software and tools (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar systems)
• Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial forecasting
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Strong knowledge of financial compliance, taxation, and audit requirements
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or CA is a strong advantage
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail and accuracy
