Alpha Group of Institutions is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant cum Cashier to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. As an Accountant cum Cashier, you will be responsible for handling financial transactions, maintaining accounts payable and accounts receivables, and providing efficient cashier services.
Key Responsibilities
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivables for the institution.
- Maintain financial records and ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions.
- Prepare financial reports and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and staff.
Required Candidate Profile
- Graduates with a minimum of 1 year of experience as Cashier.
- Previous experience in handling accounts payable/accounts receivables is preferred.
- Candidates with previous work experience in a college/school setting will have an added advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
- Excellent numerical and mathematical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
