Job Description

Designation: Accountant

Sector: Manufacturing

Location: Pune

Shift: 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM

Contract Tenure: 6 Months

Qualification: ACCA/Semi CA / MBA / M.Com / B.Com

Experience: 3–4 Years in Corporate Accounting

ERP: SAP Preferred (Oracle / OneStream knowledge is an advantage)

Role Overview

Company is looking for an Accountant with strong experience in corporate accounting. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, and supporting month-end closing activities while ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including financial transactions, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
  • Maintain the general ledger and perform account reconciliations, ensuring adherence to the golden rules of accounting
  • Handle fixed accounting activities, including Capex accounting, depreciation, accruals, prepaids, and intercompany transactions
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes with accurate financial recording and reporting
  • Prepare financial reports and MIS for management review and decision-making
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
  • Coordinate with internal teams for financial data collection, reporting, and reconciliation requirements
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in financial records and account balances

Note

This is initially a 6-month contractual role. Based on performance and business requirements, there may be an opportunity for full-time absorption in the future.
