We're looking for an Account Manager-Sales, based in our Noida office to join our team at McGraw Hill.

How can you make an impact

The Account Manager will be remotely based in Noida will be the go-to person for understanding what is happening within universities, colleges, and other higher learning institutions across North India, particularly in the UP and Rajasthan regions, while also managing buy back & book bank institutions in Delhi/NCR in universities to generate and nurture recurring business for both print and digital.

What you will be doing

  • Developing, adhering, and implementing the action plan and time frame for growing the territory and region and therefore collaborating with the North India team by meeting the regional and national level targets
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of McGraw Hill Higher Education products, and sell McGraw Hill print and digital solutions to new and existing customers in assigned territories across institutes and universities
  • Manage trade channels for smooth execution of institutional supplies
  • Participate in premier institutions exhibitions, working with BOS (Boards of Studies) members in syllabus revisions for new adoptions and thereby generate future pipeline
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including academic leaders, faculty, students and educational organizations, to gather insights through direct engagement, research, and market analysis
  • You will be managing the budget in a competitive, fast-paced and highly dynamic environment for your account and evaluate business opportunities, make data-driven decisions, and understand the financial implications of partnerships within the higher education sector
  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and other internal teams to ensure that the product offerings meet the evolving needs of higher education institutions.

What are we looking for

  • Bachelors Degree is mandatory
  • Proven strong experience in sales preferably in higher education, dealing with universities, colleges, or large educational organizations
  • Prior experience in being an active participant of growing market share and increase revenue within the higher education space, specifically through engaging with academic institutions and educational bodies
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory (50% -70% of your role)
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
