We are looking for an experienced Account Manager - Media Planner who can manage client relationships and develop effective media plans across mainline and digital channels. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a deep understanding of media planning, and the ability to deliver strategic solutions that meet client objectives.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- Understand client requirements, marketing goals, and campaign objectives.
- Present media plans, strategies, and campaign reports to clients.
- Ensure client satisfaction and maintain long-term relationships.
- Develop integrated media plans across TV, Print, Radio, Outdoor, and Digital (if required).
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and audience profiling.
- Identify appropriate media channels based on campaign objectives and budgets.
- Prepare media plans, schedules, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with internal teams (creative, media buying, digital) to ensure campaign delivery.
- Monitor campaign performance and optimise for better results.
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and billing details.
- Collaborate with media buying teams to ensure optimal costs and inventory.
- Liaise with media partners, vendors, and publishers when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, or related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in media planning (mainline preferred).
- Strong understanding of media metrics, TRPs, Readership, IRS, BARC, etc.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-handling skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple accounts.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and media planning tools.
- Experience in an advertising or media agency environment.
- Knowledge of digital media planning.
