Role Description The Finance and Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations and accounting activities. This role includes managing general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. The Finance and Account Manager will prepare financial statements and management reports, monitor budgets, track cash flow, and support audits and compliance with local regulations and company policies. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders such as auditors, banks, and vendors, while implementing and improving financial controls and processes. The Finance and Account Manager will also assist in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong accounting and financial management skills, including experience with general ledger, financial reporting, and budgeting.
• Effective communication is required for smooth data and understanding.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in financial analysis and forecasting, including variance analysis and cash flow management.
• Candidates should possess practical knowledge of taxation, regulatory compliance, and audit support.
• Candidates should possess strong skills in using accounting and ERP software, as well as MS Excel and other financial tools.
• Candidates should possess excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and problem-solving abilities.
• Candidates should possess strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Relevant academic qualifications such as a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA equivalent) are an advantage.
• Prior experience in a finance or accounts management role, preferably in a corporate or services environment, will be beneficial.
