Job Description

Account Manager - BFSI (Mumbai)

Position Overview

We are seeking an Account Manager with minimum 5-7 years of experience to join our sales team in Mumbai. This role focuses on managing key BFSI client relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction through strategic account management with reasonable technical consultation.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage assigned portfolio of BFSI accounts with focus on revenue expansion, retention and Net New.

Develop and execute account strategies aligned with client business objectives

Build and maintain strong relationships with senior management stakeholders (Director, SVPs, VPs / Senior Manager levels)

Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts

An ability to give very high level technical guidance on AWS cloud solutions, data management and managed services

Articulate GenAI / Agentic AI use cases relevant to BFSI sector

Prepare business proposals, case studies, and ROI analyses

Conduct regular business reviews and maintain detailed account documentation

Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience:

MBA degree

Min 5 years of account management experience in Banking | Capital Markets | Payments

Proven track record of managing enterprise-level accounts and senior management relationships.

Communication Skills:

Excellent English proficiency - verbal and written

Strong presentation and negotiation abilities

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders Technical Knowledge:

Basic understanding of AWS cloud computing fundamentals and benefits

Basic knowledge of data management and analytics on cloud

Familiarity with GenAI / Agentic AI concepts and enterprise applications

Understanding of managed services and their business value

Preferred Qualifications

AWS certification (AWS Solutions Architect Associate or equivalent)

Experience with digital transformation initiatives in BFSI

Knowledge of regulatory compliance in financial services

Familiarity with fintech ecosystem and emerging technologies
