Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join our team at our Kochi Head Office. This is a full-time, permanent position offering an excellent opportunity for professional growth in the dynamic import-export sector.

Salary: 40,000 - 50,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

Manage accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting

Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

Manage import-export documentation and ensure compliance with Indian tax regulations

Support financial analysis and reporting to the Head of Finance and Accounts

Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records

Coordinate with customs and freight forwarders on import-export documentation

Ensure timely processing of invoices and payments

Assist with budgeting and financial planning activities

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field

2-5 years of experience in accounting or financial operations

Familiarity with import-export accounting preferred

Strong knowledge of Indian tax regulations and compliance requirements

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Attention to detail and ability to work independently

Knowledge of GST and customs procedures is a plus
