DESIGNATION : ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE
WORK LOCATION : SAFDERJUNG ENCLAVE, NEW DELHI
EXPERIANCE : 2 - 5 YEARS
The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting tasks, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and assisting in financial planning and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Record day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Ensure all financial data is entered accurately and timely into the accounting system.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Assist in the preparation of management reports and financial analysis.
Ensure financial reports comply with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Reconciliation:
Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Reconcile sub-ledgers to the general ledger.
Compliance and Audit:
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and information.
Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor budget variances and provide explanations for significant differences.
Support the finance team in financial planning and analysis.
Taxation:
Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Assist in tax planning and optimization strategies.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
Expense Management:
Monitor and manage company expenses, ensuring they are within budget.
Review and process employee expense reports.
Ensure proper documentation and approval for all expenses.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for improving accounting processes and controls.
Implement best practices in accounting and financial management.
Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CA/CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office (Excel, Word).
Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
