Accounts Executive is responsible for managing a companys day-to-day financial transactions and ensuring accurate record-keeping . Their role bridges technical accounting with administrative oversight to maintain the organization's financial health.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Data Management : Record daily business transactions including sales, purchases, payments, and receipts in accounting software like Tally ERP or QuickBooks .
- Accounts Payable Receivable : Track company debts and money owed; review invoices, ensure timely payments to vendors, and follow up on overdue client payments.
- Reconciliation : Regularly reconcile bank statements and ledger entries to identify and resolve discrepancies or errors.
- Financial Reporting : Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Taxation Compliance : Prepare and submit tax returns (e.g., GST, TDS ) and ensure adherence to statutory filings and financial regulations.
- Audit Support : Provide documentation and support during internal and external audits.
