Job Description
Job Purpose
The Accounts Receivable Executive will be responsible for managing invoicing, sales order creation, licensing-related activities, bank reconciliation, and MIS reporting. The role requires strong attention to detail, process adherence, and coordination with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Create and process Sales Orders (SO) in the ERP/system in an accurate and timely manner
Generate, verify, and issue customer invoices as per approved sales orders and company policies
Manage and track licensing-related activities, including documentation, coordination, and record maintenance
Perform bank reconciliation and ensure accurate matching of receipts, payments, and customer records
Maintain proper accounts receivable records and support customer account reconciliation
Prepare and share periodic MIS reports related to invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and pending items
Coordinate with internal departments such as Sales, Operations, Licensing, and Accounts for smooth transaction processing
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal financial controls and processes
Address and resolve invoice, order, and payment-related discrepancies in coordination with relevant stakeholders
Support month-end and periodic closing activities related to receivables and reconciliations
Required Skills & Competencies
Sound knowledge of Accounts Receivable processes
Experience in invoicing, sales order creation, and bank reconciliation
Basic understanding of licensing or subscription-related processes
Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and MS Excel
Good analytical and reporting skills for MIS preparation
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and interdepartmental coordination skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
Additional certification in accounting or finance will be an added advantage
Experience
13 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable / Finance Operations / Billing
Preferred Profile
Experience in ERP-based invoicing and reconciliation processes preferred
Candidate with experience in handling operational finance activities such as SO creation, invoicing, licensing coordination, bank reconciliation, and MIS reporting
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment
