Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

We are seeking an Account Executive who is excited to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas, including supporting our UAE team and contributing to our family office. With the support of the managerial team located in UAE, the work profile in UAE would broadly include areas such as accounting, audit and tax compliance and also supporting the team in numerous PR related efforts. The job may involve travel to UAE 1-2 times a year. The role in our family office would involve accounting, wealth accounting and reporting, MIS reports and tax compliance.

UAE profile

Accounting and bookkeeping

  • Handling bookkeeping and accounting operations for clients including invoicing
  • Monitor and reconcile bank statements and accounts.
  • Assist in preparation of tax filings in UAE
  • Periodic MIS reporting
  • Maintain digital records and documentation

Internal Audit / Statutory Audit

  • Assist in identifying and evaluating the organization's risk areas as per laid out Audit Plan
  • Support in performing audit procedures to ensure that the clients departments perform their activities in accordance and in compliance with pre-set management policies and procedures; and that the company's internal controls and process are working effectively and efficiently.
  • Assisting in identification and documentation of audit issues
  • Assistance in preparation of reports on the result of the audits performed

Other support services

  • Assistance in company incorporation in UAE and bank account opening
  • Assistance in preparation of PR material and client proposals
  • VAT and Corporate tax registration in UAE
  • NRI services to the clients in UAE
  • Perform any other duties as required by reporting manager

Family office profile

  • Manage individual client accounts, handling entries and reconciliations within Tally, and learning investment accounting for effective wealth tracking.Periodic MIS reporting to clients as per requirements
  • Basic computation of advance tax workings, GST workings
  • Basic preparation of financials of individual clients along with preparation of Computation of income
  • Oversee and manage all accounting transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure timely and accurate bank payments and working closely with finance teams
  • Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data
  • Provide administrative support to maintain smooth operations within the office.
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance organization and communication, supporting overall client servicing and project management.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce or Accounting, semi-qualified CA/CS or other equivalent qualifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in Tally ERP will be an added advantage
  • Strong written, verbal communication skills and relation building skills
  • Highly proactive in approach
  • 0-2 years of experience
