Job Summary:

Responsible for reconciling expenses and treasury transactions. Manage vendor expenses, ensuring checks and balances are in place for each payment. Provide support for various audits in Chargebee.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for accounting, reconciliation, and reporting of treasury transactions, including bank receipts, payment gateway inflows, settlements, and payouts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  2. Accounting, reconciliation, and analysis of employee, vendor, and related expenses.
  3. Process statutory payments for various entities.
  4. Ensure completeness of vendor expenses by performing variance analysis and creating provisions when necessary.
  5. Prepare and maintain schedules and reports for expense-related areas as part of the monthly book closure process.
  6. Collaborate with internal & external teams such as FP&A, HR, banking partners, etc. to obtain documentation and information necessary for accounting purposes.
  7. Assist in performing the required tasks related to audit including providing the auditors with the required supporting documentation.
  8. Support organization-wide projects, such as tools implementation related to accounting and finance.

Must Haves:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with 0-3 years of accounting or audit experience.
  2. Advanced MS Office skills, particularly in MS Excel.
  3. Strong analytical and interpretative skills, with exposure to finance and analytical tools.

Nice to haves:

  1. Experience in expense accounting.
  2. Familiarity with IFRS and/or US GAAP.
  3. Experience in automating systems, workflows, and processes.
  4. Familiarity with Netsuite ERP system.

Skills and Experience:

Graduate with 1-3 years of Accounting or Audit experience
