CTC: 7-10 LPA

The Role

Equip helps companies hire faster. It has shortlisting tools like ATS, Resume Screening, AI Interviews and Assessments. It also helps companies discover candidates, like on LinkedIn.

This is NOT a traditional sales role. We've grown to 850+ companies across 81 countries with zero salespeople. Customers found us, tried the product, and paid us based on usage. This role is the first step in changing that.

It's a hybrid of sales, customer relationships, and product. You'll prospect, run demos, and close deals. You'll also live close enough to customers that you become a source of what we build next.

This is a salary-based role with no commission. We pay a strong fixed salary because we want people who take ownership of the whole job, not just the parts that pay a bonus.

What you'll do

  • Prospect, cold outreach, and build pipeline for SMB and mid-market companies
  • Run demo calls and close deals end-to-end
  • Expand existing accounts, including selling our new product line into companies already using us
  • Talk to customers daily to understand workflows, pain points, and what makes them buy
  • Turn customer conversations into clear product feedback and feature ideas
  • Test new features and flag what's broken or confusing before customers do
  • Help shape how we position and sell as we build the function from scratch

Additional Requirements

  • Want to sell, but also genuinely curious about the product and the customer, not just the close
  • Comfortable being told no often and going again
  • Like wearing multiple hats and thrive in early-stage, high-ownership environments
  • Want to be in the room as we build a sales motion from zero, not inherit someone else's playbook
  • SaaS or B2B sales exposure is a plus, but drive matters more than years
