Position Overview

An Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining financial records, processing transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting financial reporting. The role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and knowledge of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

Ensuring and performing financial and account related work such as accurate and timely recording, collection, and processing of all General accounting and Reporting, other computational and reportorial tasks. He / She must have the experience in accounting, handling payments to vendors and resolve all vendor related issues, payment processing, verifying and reconciling invoices. This role serves as a critical link in ensuring the organization's financial operations run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining compliance with accounting and regulatory requirements.

  • Handling Full sets of accounts, bookkeeping day to day accounting transaction including preparation and posting journal entries, account receivable, account payable and other general accounting duties
  • Preparing and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of monthly management accounting for management's review includes general accounting and reporting, fixed assets, statutory accounting in accordance with SLAs.
  • Produce financial reports, revenue expenditure, variance analysis and planning corporate financing.
  • Manage and coordinate the reconciliation of the respective systems to ensure they balance and that any discrepancies or variations are investigated and corrected.
  • Perform other financial responsibility as and when required and handle ad hoc task.
  • Regularly track and resolve outstanding general accounting and reporting issues that have been escalated.
  • Proactively identify, propose, and implement continuous improvement opportunities in existing processes within the team.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly bank account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
  • Preparing of monthly management report and conform with and abide by all regulatory guidance and internal policies & procedures.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedure.
  • Must be experienced enough to communicate with top level management.
  • Co-ordinating with Statutory Auditors by providing them all the necessary information at the time of Audit.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 1–5 years of experience in accounting or finance functions.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Experience with accounting software such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
