Key Responsibilities:
Sales Development & Lead Generation:
- Identify and target potential clients in the retail, B2B, and B2C eCommerce sectors.
- Develop sales strategies to attract new clients and expand relationships with existing customers.
- Generate and qualify leads, progressing opportunities through the sales pipeline and closing deals.
E-commerce Solution Sales:
- Present and sell our eCommerce solutions, including platform integrations, marketing tools, payment systems, and customer experience management tools.
- Provide clients with solutions to optimize their online sales, improve user experience, and enhance marketing effectiveness.
- Customize proposals and presentations based on client needs and pain points in their commerce journey.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Establish strong relationships with decision-makers at client organizations, including CMOs, CTOs, and Heads of eCommerce.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all sales-related matters, ensuring excellent communication throughout the sales process.
- Upsell and cross-sell additional features or products that benefit the client's eCommerce operations.
Consultative Sales Approach:
- Conduct in-depth consultations with prospects to uncover their eCommerce challenges and business objectives.
- Advise clients on the most effective eCommerce strategies and how our solution can help them scale and succeed.
Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Work with the marketing team to align sales efforts with ongoing campaigns and content strategies.
- Collaborate with the product team to ensure our solutions align with market needs and emerging eCommerce trends.
Sales Forecasting & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate sales activity records in CRM and provide detailed updates to management on pipeline progress, forecasts, and outcomes.
- Monitor and report on sales performance against targets, analyzing success factors and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a focus on eCommerce solutions or platforms.
- Solid understanding of eCommerce technologies, platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce), and digital sales strategies.
- Proven success in managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of digital marketing, omnichannel retail, and eCommerce payment solutions is a plus.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in selling eCommerce platform solutions, digital marketing tools, or logistics/fulfilment technologies.
- Familiarity with emerging trends in AI, data analytics, or customer personalisation in eCommerce.
- Experience in a fast-paced, quota-driven sales environment.
