Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts professional to support daily financial operations, ensure accurate bookkeeping, and assist in timely closure of books of accounts. The role requires strong attention to detail, basic accounting knowledge, and the ability to monitor and reconcile transactions efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Monitor daily revenue transactions, audit financial entries, and perform regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Track and manage petty cash, including verification of vouchers and maintenance of records.
- Maintain books of accounts, ensuring proper recording of all financial transactions in line with accounting standards.
- Assist in timely month-end and periodical closure of books of accounts, supporting the finance team with required schedules and reports.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal financial controls.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies related to transactions and records.
Requirement
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Good analytical and reconciliation skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines and support timely financial closures.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting & Finance (B.Com preferred)
- Additional certification in accounting or finance is an advantage.
- 13 years of experience in an accounts or finance role. Freshers with strong accounting knowledge may also apply.
