Description

  • We are seeking a skilled and motivated ServiceNow Senior Developer to design, develop, configure, and customize applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform.
  • The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and process owners to deliver scalable solutions that improve IT Service Management (ITSM), automation, and enterprise workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions including forms, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, ACLs, notifications, and integrations.
  • Customize and configure ServiceNow applications such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and other modules as needed.
  • Build and maintain ServiceNow integrations using APIs, REST/SOAP web services, and third-party connectors.
  • Support ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and new module implementations.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to ServiceNow applications and workflows.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and user guides.
  • Stay up-to-date with new ServiceNow features, releases, and industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and configuration.
  • Strong expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and ServiceNow scripting.
  • Solid understanding of ServiceNow modules (e.g., Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Service Catalog).
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, LDAP, SSO, MID Server, etc.)
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required.
  • Additional certifications (e.g., CIS in ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, App Engine) preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Service Portal, UI Builder, or Flow Designer.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and reporting.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD for ServiceNow.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
