Job Description

Role Overview

  • Lead and support cloud infrastructure operations with a strong focus on AWS services, reliability, and automation.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security of client infrastructure environments.
  • Act as a technical escalation point and mentor for cloud support teams.

Key Responsibilities / KRAs

  • Design, build, and support AWS-based infrastructure solutions.
  • Maintain stability, performance, and availability of server and cloud environments.
  • Provide L2/L3 support for incidents and service disruptions.
  • Lead incident response and ensure timely service restoration with proper documentation.
  • Drive change management activities including planning, implementation, and rollback.
  • Participate in problem management to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
  • Monitor infrastructure and respond proactively to anomalies and alerts.
  • Develop and maintain automation for infrastructure provisioning and deployments.
  • Improve monitoring, alerting, and reporting frameworks.
  • Support multiple platforms including eCommerce, CMS, data integration, and custom systems.
  • Collaborate with platform and application teams to resolve infrastructure issues.
  • Mentor junior engineers and guide best practices in cloud operations.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24x7 infrastructure support coverage.
  • Research and evaluate emerging infrastructure technologies and Skills & Expertise :
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Practical experience with EC2, S3, RDS, KMS, Route 53, IAM, Lambda, Kinesis, ECS, ElasticSearch, SES, and API Gateway.
  • Experience in infrastructure automation and provisioning.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, access control, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience in incident, change, and problem management.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and ITSM ticketing tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud and server environments.
  • Experience supporting high-availability and production-grade systems.
  • Ability to work in 24x7 support environments with on-call responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS certifications are an added advantage.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
