About the Role
We're looking for a creatively sharp, execution-focused Accessories Designer to lead the design and development of our bag collections while expanding into adjacent lifestyle categories.
This role goes beyond bags — you'll help shape a wider product universe including small accessories and packaging, ensuring a strong and cohesive brand identity across everything we create.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Concept
- Design seasonal and core collections of bags (tote, sling, laptop, travel, etc.)
- Extend design thinking into other accessories such as pouches, wallets, jewelry, socks, and lifestyle add-ons
- Contribute to packaging design including labels, tags, boxes, and overall unboxing experience
- Develop mood boards, color palettes, and material direction across categories
- Ensure a consistent and distinctive visual identity across all products
Product Development
- Create detailed tech packs (dimensions, trims, materials, construction details)
- Work with manufacturers to prototype and iterate across multiple product categories
- Source fabrics, trims, hardware, and packaging materials aligned with brand ethos
- Ensure quality, usability, and durability across bags and smaller accessories
Commercial Thinking
- Design with price points, margins, and scalability in mind across categories
- Balance creativity with mass appeal and repeatability
- Identify opportunities for new product categories and extensions
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work with the marketing team on product storytelling, launches, and packaging experience
- Align with supply chain teams for feasibility and timelines across SKUs
- Collaborate closely with founders on new launches and category expansion
Requirements
- 2–6 years of experience in accessories design (bags and small accessories preferred)
- Background in fashion, accessory, or leather design
- Ability to design across categories: bags, small accessories, and packaging
- Strong understanding of materials, construction, trims, and finishes
- Experience working with manufacturers and sampling processes
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of physical product usability
Nice to Have
- Experience designing jewelry, socks, or lifestyle accessories
- Experience in packaging design and branding elements
- Familiarity with sustainable materials and processes
- Experience in D2C or fast-growing consumer brands
Why This Role
- Opportunity to shape an entire product ecosystem, not just a single category
- High ownership across bags, accessories, and packaging
- Direct exposure to founders and fast-paced decision-making
