Academic Operations Manager

We are hiring for the role of Academic Operations Manager for OpenDoor, which is now an Ei Company.

The role requires the candidates to add more value to the schools through the open door assessments program. The candidate will be face of the program for the schools and will be responsible for managing the program in at least 35+ schools, leading a team of 2-3 associates and taking complete ownership of academic value addition, success and retention of the program in the assigned schools

Looking for: an M.Sc./B.Tech/MBA background from premier institutes like IITs/NITs/IISER/IIM, etc.

Experience: at least 2 years in similar role of field.

Key responsibilities:

1. Oversee the implementation of the Open Door Assessment program across 35+ schools spread across in India

2. Facilitate mathematics and science training sessions for teachers, conducting workshops and acting as an academic consultant to the schools.

3. Should be open to traveling and visiting schools when required, as per the necessity of the program and its mission.

3. Lead and manage a team of 2-3, ensuring smooth coordination and successful execution of responsibilities.

Other requirements:

1. Strong Math + Science background and ability to look at Maths and science differently

2. Good at Managing uncertain situations, damage control.

3. Excellent communication and presentation skills

4. Interest and care towards education, and willingness to grow in the sector

5. Ability to analyse, think deep towards improving the processes for the team

6. Ability to think deep, willingness to learn and take feedback.
