POSITION TITLE: Academic Enrollment Counselor
LOCATION: Sector 4 (Near Sector 16 Metro Station), Noida, India
SALARY: INR 300K450K per annum + incentives
SETUP: Full-Time, Onsite
WORKING HOURS: 10:00 AM7:00 PM, alternate Saturdays off
JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for anAcademic Enrollment Counselorwho will provide personalized academic and career counseling to students and working professionals, with a strong focus onpsychology-related programs. This role issales-oriented with targets, combining academic guidance with enrollment conversion responsibilities.
You will be responsible for understanding learners backgrounds and aspirations, recommending suitable programs, and supporting them throughout the enrollment journey while collaborating closely with sales and marketing teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Student & Professional Counseling
- Counsel prospective students, working professionals, and parents on career-focused learning programs and suitable course options.
- Conduct one-on-one or virtual counseling sessions to guide learners based on their academic background, interests, and career goals, especially in psychology-related domains.
Enrollment & Lead Management
- Follow up on leads via phone, email, WhatsApp, and other platforms to maximize enrollments and conversions.
- Clearly explain course structure, content, duration, fees, career outcomes, and overall benefits.
- Proactively work toward achieving and exceeding monthlyenrollment and revenue targets.
Relationship Building & Onboarding
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with students and their families.
- Ensure a smooth onboarding experience from first contact through successful enrollment.
- Provide post-enrollment support and resolve student queries to ensure a seamless learning journey.
Collaboration & Market Awareness
- Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to support campaigns and drive higher conversions.
- Stay updated withEdTech trends, competitive landscape, and industry insights to provide relevant, personalized guidance.
Data & CRM Management
- UseCRM toolsto track, update, and manage student interactions, lead status, and conversion pipelines.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of counseling sessions, follow-ups, and enrollments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
- Psychology background is preferred, though candidates from other streams may also apply.
- 110 years of experiencein academic counseling, sales, inside sales, customer success, career counseling, or EdTech will be an added advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent listening, empathy, and problem-solving abilities.
- Confident and comfortable in asales-oriented role with defined targets.
- Ability to build rapport and handle objections professionally.
- Familiarity withCRM tools and virtual communication platforms(Zoom, Google Meet, etc.) is a plus.
- Must be able torelocate to Noida within 7 daysof selection.
- Must becomfortable with the offered salary range.
- Must have theirown laptop(candidates relying on arranged/borrowed laptops will not be considered).
- Must be available to workfull-time from the officein Sector 4, Noida.
