Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Academic Counselor located in Bengaluru. The Academic Counselor will provide academic guidance, support career planning, and engage in student counseling to help learners achieve their educational and career goals. Responsibilities include advising students on course selections, assisting them in identifying suitable career opportunities, and maintaining a supportive and motivating environment. The counselor will collaborate closely with academic staff and employ effective communication techniques to address student needs.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling
- Strong Communication skills for effective interactions with students, educators, and parents
- Expertise in Academic Advising and Education-related practices
- Ability to guide students in evaluating academic and professional goals
- Empathy and a supportive attitude towards students
- Prior experience in counseling or education is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Familiarity with the education and career landscape in India
