Academic Counselor

Roles and Responsibility:

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions on academic and personal matters.
• Develop and implement effective counseling strategies to improve student outcomes.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to identify and address student needs.
• Conduct workshops and seminars on topics such as time management, study skills, and career development.
• Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and student interactions.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in academic counseling.

Job Requirements:

• Master's degree in Education or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in academic counseling or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of students, teachers, and staff.
• Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
• Familiarity with educational technology and software is preferred.
