Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Academic Counselor located in Bhagalpur. The Academic Counselor will assist students in making informed career and educational choices through one-on-one counseling and guidance sessions. Responsibilities include providing academic advising, supporting students in setting and achieving their educational goals, and offering career counseling. The Counselor will work closely with students to address their queries, evaluate their academic progress, and suggest strategies to improve overall performance. Communication with students, parents, and stakeholders will play a vital role in creating a supportive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to guide students effectively through their academic and professional journey
- Strong Communication skills to clearly convey ideas, provide support, and maintain effective engagement with students and parents
- Experience in Academic Advising and Education to help students make informed decisions and achieve their educational objectives
- An empathetic and motivating approach to support students in overcoming challenges
- Relevant experience in counseling or education-related roles
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in counseling are a plus
