Academic Counselor

This is a full-time remote role for an Academic Counselor. As an Academic Counselor, you will provide guidance and support to learners, helping them navigate educational and career paths in cybersecurity and data analytics. Day-to-day responsibilities will include student counseling, career counseling, academic advising, and helping students develop individualized success plans. You will collaborate closely with students to identify their strengths and areas for development, while fostering a positive and supportive learning experience.

• Experience in Student Counseling and Career Counseling
• Strong Communication skills for effectively guiding and advising students
• Knowledge of Academic Advising and Education systems
• Ability to assess students strengths and tailor personalized career and educational plans
• Proficiency in using digital tools to facilitate virtual learning and counseling
• Empathy, patience, and a strong passion for supporting student success
• Prior experience in the cybersecurity or data analytics education field is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or a related field
