Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Academic Counselor to join our on-site team at our Delhi, India location. The Academic Counselor will be responsible for guiding students through academic decisions, career pathways, and language learning plans. Tasks include conducting counseling sessions, providing academic advising, and assisting students in identifying and achieving their educational and professional goals. The counselor will also foster positive communication with students, understand their needs, and offer tailored guidance to enhance their academic journey and overall experience with En-Gate.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to effectively assist and guide students
• Proficiency in Academic Advising and Education to provide knowledgeable and practical advice
• Exceptional Communication skills to engage with students and stakeholders effectively
• Empathy, patience, and the ability to work collaboratively in a culturally diverse environment
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field; a master's degree is an advantage
• Prior experience in a counseling or advising role, preferably in an educational setting
• Basic understanding of English language learning programs and curricula
