Role Description
This is a full-time Academic Counselor role within the edtech sales domain, based on-site in Bengaluru. The Academic Counselor will be responsible for providing guidance to students regarding education and academic journey, assisting in career decision-making, and addressing academic concerns. The role requires building strong communication with students and their families to understand their needs and provide effective solutions. The counselor will also collaborate with the sales team to ensure alignment with organizational goals and student satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Student Counseling, Academic Advising, and Education
- Proficiency in Career Counseling techniques and approaches
- Excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with students and families
- Ability to assess student requirements and provide tailored academic solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field
- Prior experience in an edtech or academic counseling role is a plus
- Strong organizational and planning skills to manage student interactions and records effectively
