Academic Counsellor

Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Academic Counsellor, based in Chandigarh and Patiala. The responsibilities include providing personalized academic guidance, assessing students strengths and areas of improvement, and developing effective study plans. The role also involves mentoring students, coordinating with parents and educators, and helping students identify future educational opportunities or career paths.

Qualifications

• Strong counselling, mentoring, and interpersonal skills to guide students effectively
• Proficiency in academic advising, study plan development, and educational career planning
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with students, parents, and educational stakeholders
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their personal and academic goals
• Knowledge of educational systems and career pathways, especially in the Indian context
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
• Experience in academic counseling or related domains is a plus
