Role Overview
We're seeking a motivated and empatheticAcademic Counsellorto join our growth journey. You will be the first point of contact for prospective learners, guiding them through our offerings and helping them make informed choices about their finance education. This role requires excellent communication, a student-first attitude, and the ability to convert interest into enrollments.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with potential students via phone, email, or chat to understand their learning needs.
- Counsel students and professionals about Finskool's courses, certifications, and programs.
- Clearly communicate program benefits, career outcomes, and course details.
- Follow up with leads and drive conversions through personalized guidance and support.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the marketing and academic teams to align messaging and feedback.
- Achieve weekly/monthly enrollment targets.
- Ensure a high-quality counselling experience that reflects Finskool's values.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Education, Business, or Marketing preferred).
- 13 years of experience in sales, counselling, or academic advisory roles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Empathetic listener and strong interpersonal skills.
- Confidence in speaking with students, parents, and working professionals.
- Goal-driven with a customer-focused mindset.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and digital communication platforms.
Good to Have
- Prior experience in EdTech or financial education domain.
- Understanding of basic finance or investing (training will be provided).
- Proficiency in regional languages (in addition to English and Hindi).
