As part of our growing admissions team, we are hiring an academic counselor finance programs to support student enrollments across professional finance certification pathways.

Role Overview

This is a B2C admissions and inside sales role focused on guiding aspiring finance professionals and helping them select suitable certification programs aligned with their career goals.

You will work with qualified student inquiries, provide structured academic counseling, and manage the admissions journey through consultative engagement and consistent follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Handling & Qualification

  • Manage inbound and outbound inquiries for finance certification programs, including CFA, FRM, Investment Banking, US CPA, and CMA pathways.
  • Evaluate candidates based on academic background, experience, and career objectives.
  • Assess suitability for finance career tracks such as investment banking, risk management, corporate finance, equity research, and accounting.
  • Maintain structured follow-up cycles to nurture prospective students.

Academic Counseling & Admissions

  • Conduct telephonic, video, and in-person counseling sessions.
  • Explain program structure, certification pathways, timelines, eligibility, and learning outcomes.
  • Guide candidates on finance career pathways and industry opportunities.
  • Address queries related to program structure, preparation requirements, and career progression.
  • Manage the admissions lifecycle from inquiry through enrollment confirmation.

CRM & Follow-Up Management

  • Maintain accurate records of student interactions and follow-ups in CRM systems.
  • Execute timely follow-ups via calls, email, and messaging platforms.
  • Track counseling activities and admission conversions.

Targets & Collaboration

  • Work towards defined enrollment and performance goals.
  • Coordinate with academic and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and student experience.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 13 years of experience in EdTech admissions, academic counseling, or inside sales.
  • Prior exposure to finance certification or professional upskilling programs preferred.
  • Experience in B2C education sales environments is an advantage.

Skills

  • Strong English communication and counseling skills.
  • Target-oriented mindset with effective objection-handling ability.
  • Comfortable using CRM tools and sales tracking systems.
  • Ability to build trust with students and working professionals.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, marketing, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with finance certifications or investment banking career pathways is beneficial.
