Role Overview
Dice Academy is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Academic Counsellor who will play a pivotal role in guiding prospective students while contributing to the organization's growth through effective lead management and consultative sales. The ideal candidate will combine strong communication skills with a passion for education and career counseling.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Engagement & Conversion:
- Proactively handle inbound inquiries and generate leads through outbound calling activities, ensuring timely follow-ups and high conversion rates.
- Career Counseling:
- Provide personalized academic and career guidance to prospective students, understanding their aspirations and recommending suitable courses aligned with their goals.
- Sales & Revenue Generation:
- Drive enrollments by effectively communicating the value proposition of programs, addressing objections, and closing admissions in line with targets.
- Lead Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, interactions, and conversion status in CRM systems, ensuring proper tracking of the entire sales funnel.
- Relationship Building:
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with prospective students and stakeholders to enhance trust and brand credibility.
- Coordination & Reporting:
- Collaborate with internal teams (academics, marketing, and operations) to ensure seamless student onboarding and provide regular reports on lead status, conversions, and pipeline health.
- Market Awareness:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and evolving student needs to refine counseling and sales strategies.
Key Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong persuasive and negotiation abilities
- Prior experience in education counseling / EdTech sales preferred
- Ability to manage multiple leads and prioritize effectively
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office
- 6 months-1 year of sales experience in EdTech.
