Role Description The Senior Academic Counsellor (B2C) will provide one-on-one guidance to students and families, helping them understand academic options, entrance requirements, and career pathways in India and abroad. This full-time on-site role, based in Bengaluru, involves conducting detailed counseling sessions, assessing student interests and strengths, and recommending suitable courses, colleges, and career tracks. The counsellor will manage the end-to-end counseling process, including follow-ups, documentation, and maintaining accurate records in internal systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling inbound inquiries from prospective students, conducting structured consultations, and supporting them through application and decision-making stages. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to refine counseling frameworks, contributing to workshops or webinars, and staying updated on education trends, curricula, and institutional changes.

- Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Academic Advising skills to guide learners through educational choices and planning.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to explain complex information clearly to students and families and handle B2C interactions professionally.
- Candidates should possess solid Career Counseling skills to align academic pathways with long-term career goals and market realities.
- Candidates should possess a sound understanding of Education systems, courses, and admission processes across schools, colleges, and training programs.
- Relevant experience in academic or career counseling, education consulting, or student services is highly beneficial.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to work with diverse student backgrounds are important.
- Comfort with using digital tools, CRM systems, and online research platforms to manage student information and resources is advantageous.
