Industry & Sector: Enterprise Data Integration and Business Intelligence servicing Banking, Insurance and Telecom clients. This on-site India role focuses on designing and delivering high-throughput ETL solutions, data quality controls and production-grade data pipelines using Ab Initio for large-scale enterprise data platforms.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain Ab Initio graphs and reusable components to implement scalable ETL workflows and data transformations.
- Build metadata-driven pipelines using Ab Initio GDE and integrate with Enterprise Meta Environment (EME) for versioning and lineage.
- Optimize ETL jobs and SQL queries for high-volume targets (Teradata/Oracle/DB2), tuning Ab Initio parallelism and system resources to meet SLAs.
- Implement data quality, reconciliation and exception-handling frameworks; collaborate with data stewards to remediate issues and validate datasets.
- Integrate Ab Initio processes with Unix schedulers, shell scripts and CI/CD deployments; automate job orchestration and monitoring.
- Investigate and resolve production incidents, perform root-cause analysis and deliver robust runbooks and operational handover documentation.

- Experience with incident management, deployment automation and writing operational/runbook documentation.
