ABB is seeking experienced professionals who are looking to restart their careers after career break.

This opportunity is part of ABB's Unpause, designed to support individuals in re-entering the workforce through structured onboarding, continuous learning, and meaningful business assignments.

The role plays a critical part in enabling ABB's business growth and supporting multiple divisions. We are seeking highly motivated and innovative professionals for roles across Technology and Data Science.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Support key functions across Software development, automation testing, Embedded development, DevOps, Cyber security, Product Management, Data science and Analytics or related functions. aligned with organizational needs.

  • Responsibilities tailored to the candidate's background, skills, and experience to enable meaningful contribution and learning

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and global teams on cross-functional initiatives

  • Contribute to day-to-day operations while supporting process improvement efforts

  • Assist in the execution of strategic projects and business initiatives

  • Analyze data, prepare reports and presentations, and support initiatives that improve operational efficiency and business outcome.

Qualifications:

  • Prior professional experience in Software development, automation testing, Embedded development, DevOps, Cyber security, Product Management, Data science and Analytics or related functions.

  • 2-5 years of career break due to personal, family, academic, or other valid reasons

  • Educational background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.

  • Dedicated willingness to enhance skill set, upskill, and adapt to new tools, systems, and ways of working

  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a global, multicultural environment

  • Clear communication and interpersonal skills with a professional approach

  • Proficient analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail

  • Effective time management, prioritization, and ability to work efficiently and within teams.
