Role Summary
We're looking for a technically sound Senior SAP ABAP Consultant with hands-on experience in core ABAP development and data migration projects across SAP ECC and S/4HANA. You will own complex technical deliverables, optimize performance, and play a key role in the migration and integration efforts during transformation projects.________________________________________ Responsibilities:
- ABAP Development
- Design, develop, and optimize ABAP programs (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
- Implement best practices for clean, maintainable, and modular ABAP code.
- Work on SmartForms, Adobe Forms, ALV reports, user exits, BADIs, and enhancement frameworks.
- Data Migration Execution
- Lead RICEFW development specific to migration scenarios across modules (FI, MM, SD, PP, etc.).
- Build and enhance migration objects using LSMW, BDC, BAPIs, IDocs, and custom ETL programs.
- Collaborate with functional/data teams to validate and transform legacy data.
- Performance Tuning & Debugging
- Identify and fix bottlenecks in ABAP programs, particularly large-volume data migrations.
- Leverage tools like ST05, SAT, SE30 for performance benchmarking.
- Cutover & Testing Support
- Participate in cutover rehearsals and mock migration cycles.
- Prepare scripts for test data loads, validation routines, and reconciliation checks.
- Documentation & Review
- Create detailed technical specs and maintain audit-compliant documentation.
- Review code quality of L1/L2 developers, offering guidance and corrections.

Skills Required
- 6+ years of hands-on ABAP programming across multiple SAP modules.
- Solid experience in at least two end-to-end SAP data migration cycles.
- Expertise in classic migration tools: LSMW, BDC, BAPIs, IDocs.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in both standard and custom programs.
- Good understanding of SAP data models, domain/field-level data integrity.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation habits.

Preferred
- S/4HANA exposure, especially working with CDS Views and AMDP in data migration scenarios.
- Familiarity with migration cockpit or SAP Data Services is a plus.
- Awareness of Agile/Scrum is useful.
