ABAP UI5 Developer

Scope of Work

You shall provide SAP development and support services focusing on ABAP-based

solutions and SAP UI5 applications. The role involves developing, enhancing, and maintaining

SAP systems while ensuring adherence to SAP product standards and best practices. The

Contractor will be responsible for implementing new features, resolving customer incidents, and

optimizing application performance within the SAP ecosystem.

Tasks:

Design and develop SAP applications using ABAP OO, SAP UI5, OData services, AMDP, CDS views, and ABAP on HANA

Implement ongoing enhancements and continuous improvements ensuring compliance with evolving SAP product standards for performance, security, and accessibility

Apply object-oriented principles, RDBMS concepts, and SQL optimization techniques in all development activities

Analyze and optimize application performance, particularly focusing on ABAP on HANA capabilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (functional consultants, architects, data analysts) under an Agile delivery model.

Output:

Production-ready ABAP OO programs, classes, and function modules committed to transport requests

SAP UI5 applications with responsive design and optimal user experience

Unit, integration, and regression test coverage for all developed components.

Regular code review participation to maintain development quality and performance.

Delivery of agreed backlog items, enhancements, and bug fixes within sprint timelines.

Active participation in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives).
