Ab Initio App Support

Responsibilities :

Develop, enhance, and maintain ETL workflows using Ab Initio. Provide L2/L3 production support for business-critical data integration applications. Monitor daily batch jobs and ensure successful execution within SLA timelines. Analyze application failures, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production incidents and implement preventive measures. Work with business users, developers, and infrastructure teams to resolve production issues. Support application releases, deployments, and code migrations across environments. Develop shell scripts and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency. Optimize ETL jobs for performance and scalability. Participate in on-call support and weekend deployment activities as required. Maintain support documentation, SOPs, and knowledge repository.

Technical and Professional Requirements:

3-5 years of experience in Ab Initio Development and Application Support. Strong hands-on experience with: Ab Initio GDE (Graphical Development Environment) Co Operating System EME (Enterprise Meta Environment) Conduct IT Strong SQL and database skills (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, etc.). Experience with Unix/Linux commands and Shell Scripting. Knowledge of ETL, Data Warehousing, and Data Migration concepts. Experience in incident management, problem management, and change management processes. Exposure to job scheduling tools such as Control-M, Autosys, or similar. Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot production issues efficiently.
