Ab Initio App Support

Job Description:

• We are seeking an experienced Ab Initio Application Support Engineer with 3 5 years of experience in both Ab Initio Development and Production Support
• The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ETL development job monitoring incident management troubleshooting and performance optimization in a production environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop enhance and maintain ETL workflows using Ab Initio
• Provide L2 L3 production support for business critical data integration applications
• Monitor daily batch jobs and ensure successful execution within SLA timelines
• Analyze application failures troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions
• Perform root cause analysis RCA for production incidents and implement preventive measures
• Work with business users developers and infrastructure teams to resolve production issues
• Support application releases deployments and code migrations across environments
• Develop shell scripts and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency
• Optimize ETL jobs for performance and scalability
• Participate in on call support and weekend deployment activities as required
• Maintain support documentation SOPs and knowledge repository

Technical Requirements:

• 3 5 years of experience in Ab Initio Development and Application Support
• Strong hands on experience with
• Ab Initio GDE Graphical Development Environment
• Co Operating System
• EME Enterprise Meta Environment
• Conduct IT
• Strong SQL and database skills Oracle SQL Server Teradata etc
• Experience with Unix Linux commands and Shell Scripting
• Knowledge of ETL Data Warehousing and Data Migration concepts
• Experience in incident management problem management and change management processes
• Exposure to job scheduling tools such as Control M Autosys or similar
• Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot production issues efficiently
