Your impact
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Testing Associate to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing, with a strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and best practices. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products through meticulous testing, test automation development, and collaboration with development teams.
Job Description
- Test Planning & Strategy
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test strategies.
- Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on functional and non-functional requirements.
Good to have domain knowledge on Maps, BIM, Digital Twin.
- Manual Testing
- Execute manual test cases thoroughly to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
- Perform various types of manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Automation Testing
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automation scripts using Playwright, Typescript.
- Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing.
- Analyze automation test results, identify failures, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
Good to have experience in automating Maps.
- Technical Proficiency
- Shows flexibility in adoption of New technologies and Tools
- Utilize your proficiency in either C# or java to write clean, efficient, and maintainable test/automation code.
- Understand and implement various test automation patterns and best practices
Here's what you'll need
Primary Skills
- Proven expertise in both Automation Testing & Manual Testing
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation & API Automation
- Proficiency in one of the following programming languages typescript/Java/.net.
- Experience with defect tracking tools ( Jira).
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
Secondary Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) and familiarity with CI/CD Tools
- PowerSuite - PowerBI, PowerApps
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in the areas of Testing or Automation
- Has Exposure to working in the areas of Data Analysis , Cleansing and Transformation.
- Knowledge of software development best practices and design patterns.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
