Avaloq Quality Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Work independently and contribute as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in testing activities
• Actively participate in team discussions, Agile ceremonies, and requirement analysis sessions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements and design effective test strategies
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases, scripts, and procedures
• Identify, log, track, and manage defects using test management tools and ensure timely resolution with development teams
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts and frameworks for regression and functional testing
• Perform API, integration, regression, performance, load, and stress testing to ensure application stability and reliability
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes
• Support test data preparation and environment configuration for smooth test execution
• Monitor test execution results and provide detailed reporting and insights on quality metrics
