Job Summary:
We are looking for a versatile 3D Generalist with strong skills across modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering, along with hands-on experience in simulations and Unreal Engine. The ideal candidate should be capable of taking assets from concept to final output and integrating them into real-time environments for high-quality visual experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality 3D models, textures, and materials for characters, props, and environments.
- Develop realistic lighting and rendering setups for both offline and real-time outputs.
- Execute simulation work including cloth, hair, particles, smoke, fire, fluids, and rigid/soft body dynamics.
- Convert CAD data (STEP, IGES, STL, CATIA, SolidWorks, NX, etc.) into clean, optimized NURBS models. Preserve design intent, dimensions, and tolerances during CAD conversion.
- Optimize and integrate assets into Unreal Engine for real-time visualization and interactive experiences.
- Set up real-time lighting, materials, and shaders inside Unreal Engine.
- Collaborate with designers, animators, and developers to maintain visual consistency.
- Troubleshoot technical and artistic challenges across the 3D pipeline
- Ensure assets meet performance and quality standards for real-time and cinematic projects
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of 3D fundamentals: modeling, UVs, texturing, lighting, and rendering.
- Experience with simulation tools (cloth, particles, fluids, dynamics)
- Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine (asset import, materials, lighting, level setup)
- Proficiency in 3D software such as Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or Houdini
- Understanding of PBR workflows and real-time optimization techniques
- Basic knowledge of animation and rigging pipelines
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver projects on time
Preferred / Good to Have:
- Experience with Houdini simulations and procedural workflows
- Knowledge of Niagara, Blueprints, or Sequencer in Unreal Engine
- Familiarity with real-time cinematics, virtual production, or game environments
- Experience with VFX pipelines and compositing workflows
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both offline renders and real-time projects
