Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a versatile 3D Generalist with strong skills across modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering, along with hands-on experience in simulations and Unreal Engine. The ideal candidate should be capable of taking assets from concept to final output and integrating them into real-time environments for high-quality visual experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create high-quality 3D models, textures, and materials for characters, props, and environments.
  2. Develop realistic lighting and rendering setups for both offline and real-time outputs.
  3. Execute simulation work including cloth, hair, particles, smoke, fire, fluids, and rigid/soft body dynamics.
  4. Convert CAD data (STEP, IGES, STL, CATIA, SolidWorks, NX, etc.) into clean, optimized NURBS models. Preserve design intent, dimensions, and tolerances during CAD conversion.
  5. Optimize and integrate assets into Unreal Engine for real-time visualization and interactive experiences.
  6. Set up real-time lighting, materials, and shaders inside Unreal Engine.
  7. Collaborate with designers, animators, and developers to maintain visual consistency.
  8. Troubleshoot technical and artistic challenges across the 3D pipeline
  9. Ensure assets meet performance and quality standards for real-time and cinematic projects

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Strong knowledge of 3D fundamentals: modeling, UVs, texturing, lighting, and rendering.
  2. Experience with simulation tools (cloth, particles, fluids, dynamics)
  3. Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine (asset import, materials, lighting, level setup)
  4. Proficiency in 3D software such as Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or Houdini
  5. Understanding of PBR workflows and real-time optimization techniques
  6. Basic knowledge of animation and rigging pipelines
  7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver projects on time

Preferred / Good to Have:

  1. Experience with Houdini simulations and procedural workflows
  2. Knowledge of Niagara, Blueprints, or Sequencer in Unreal Engine
  3. Familiarity with real-time cinematics, virtual production, or game environments
  4. Experience with VFX pipelines and compositing workflows
  5. Strong portfolio demonstrating both offline renders and real-time projects
