About the Role
We're looking for a skilled 3D Generalist who can own projects from concept to completion. You'll create high-quality 3D assets, environments, and scenes that combine technical excellence with strong artistic visionoptimized for real-time rendering and production pipelines.
What You'll Do
- Design and build 3D models (hard surface & organic) with clean topology and optimized UVs
- Develop procedural materials and textures using node-based workflows
- Create realistic and stylized environments with cinematic lighting and composition
- Implement and optimize assets in Unreal Engine for real-time performance
- Integrate AI tools into your workflow for enhanced modeling, texturing, and look development
- Combine AI-generated outputs with manual refinement for production-ready quality
- Rig characters with proper weight painting and functional controls
- Maintain organized workflows and production-ready file structures
Core Expertise:
- Advanced Blender proficiency (modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering)
- Strong Unreal Engine experience (materials, lighting, optimization)
- AI workflow integration using AI tools to accelerate and enhance production
- Deep understanding of lighting principles and material realism
- Strong eye for composition, scale, and spatial balance
Nice to Have:
- Houdini for procedural workflows and simulations
- Houdini Engine integration with Unreal
- Background in cinematic environments, product visualization, or game assets
- Familiarity with version control and production pipelines
