Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced 2D Draftsman to join our interior design company. As a 2D Draftsman, you will primarily be responsible for creating accurate and detailed 2D drawings for modular kitchen and modular wardrobe projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

1. Create 2D drawings and technical plans based on client requirements and specifications.

2. Collaborate with the design team to understand project goals and translate them into precise drawings.

3. Develop detailed drawings for modular kitchen and modular wardrobe layouts, incorporating design elements, dimensions, and materials.

4. Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards in all drawings.

5. Provide accurate quantity estimates for materials and assist with cost estimation.

6. Coordinate with project managers, interior designers, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.

7. Review and modify drawings as necessary to accommodate design changes or client feedback.

8. Maintain an organized and up-to-date library of drawings, templates, and design standards.

9. Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and construction techniques related to modular kitchens and wardrobes.

10. Assist in quality control and site visits to ensure adherence to design specifications.

Requirements:

1. 0-1+ years of relevant experience as a 2D Draftsman, preferably in an interior design or architecture firm.

2. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD software for creating 2D drawings.

3. In-depth knowledge and experience in designing modular kitchens and modular wardrobes.

4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in producing technical drawings.

5. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

6. Strong organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines.

7. Good communication skills to effectively interact with clients, architects, and contractors.

8. Knowledge of other design software, such as 3D modeling tools, is a plus.

9. A portfolio showcasing previous 2D drafting work is highly desirable.
